In this work planning Environmental Management System (EMS) framed in the colombian technical standard (NTC) iISO 14001: 2015 for the college Tomás Carrasquilla district is an educational institution located in the city of Bogotá is performed. This institution is interested in improving their environmental performance through the SGA so that you can prevent, mitigate and control the various aspects and impacts to environmental components are generated during provision of services to the community. Development planning Environmental Management System college Tomás Carrasquilla, was conducted through a methodology based on a descriptive study of the environmental performance of the institution, first primary information was collected through surveys and an initial environmental review (Checklist) of all processes carried out in the institution, they allowed identify and determine the activities carried out within this, as well as impacts and environmental aspects of it. Once the environmental aspects and impacts identified were prioritized according to an assessment and qualification through the matrix of aspects and impacts. Likewise, the environmental performance of the institution using the matrix of environmental performance and applicable to the activities of the institution through the legal parent environmental regulations was determined. The results allowed the development of environmental policy according to the needs of the community and the institution, just as this information contribute to the development of management plans (Programs) focused on the integrated management of solid waste, saving and efficient use of energy and water, each with their respective objectives, goals, scope, resources, responsible and activities to guide the institution towards efficient environmental performance.
