Generación de mapas básicos y temáticos a partir de la creación de bases de datos geográficas en el marco de los estudios ambientales

Abstract

This monograph of degree work is the final result of the work carried out in the internship carried out as a GIS assistant in the development of the cartographic annex using the national origin of CTM-12 cartographic projection, as well as the information provided by the environmental authority Agency National Environmental Licenses (ANLA), such as the models of the structures managed in the geographic data, the geographic data dictionary that relates all the layers that are applied in the different environmental studies requested. In addition, it includes the use of satellite images or drone flights and at the same time of software such as: QGis, ArcGis and Erdas, in order to meet the requirements of the contract stipulated with the interested entity and the competent authorities, delivering of cartography in a timely manner and respecting the regulations of the jurisdictions. Three phases were carried out which refer to a methodology applied by the company; The first corresponds to the collection of basic information to present to the control authorities, the second is composed of the organization of the databases or geodatabase according to the guidelines stipulated by the ANLA in its resolution 2182 of 2016 and finally In the third phase, the base cartography is updated with the help of satellite images or drone/UAV flights and the development of the datasets and feature class that structure the work fronts of said project.
