Resumen
Discos Curro in Sonora collection Antonio Cuellar: digitalization, cataloguing and transcription, is a work that contributes to the knowledge of the discography produced by this company, which existed between the fifties and sixties, recording important artists who cultivated coastal music, boleros, rancheras and other genres of popular music. Part of the production of Discos Curro today is present in the documentary Archivo Sonoro Antonio Cuéllar, which is part of the Documentation centre of the "Gabriel Esquinas" Arts of the Faculty of ASAB Arts, thanks to the legacy of the collector Antonio Cuellar, who throughout his life treasured records in Latin America and Colombia. This work aims to contribute to preserving the musical memory of the country, when scanning Discos Curro 236 related files, of sound character and an equal number of image files, related to disc labels; also it includes the transcript of scores from the digitized recordings and a review containing information on the company, its creator and the artists who recorded there.
