Resumen
The use of cartographic products and services as tools to perform metric analysis of terrain is limited due to deformation concerning the applied scale factor as well as to the deformation corresponding to the projection used to represent the terrain. Within the context of urban representation at a cartographic level, ignoring the origin and influence of these distortions can trigger erroneous measurements if components such as accuracy, precision and adjustment are not taken into account when making them. The present investigation seeks to define which type of metric deformations correlated in the correlated local projected coordinates to the parameters of the projection system used, as well it seeks to define if the present system complies with what is stipulated by the IGAC furthermore it also aims to establish the comparison with norm NBR 14166 which will be the reference for establishing the quality of the results contemplating each one of the parameters arranged by the corresponding standards, using the 3D model of rotation and translation. The research was carried out in 5 phases. As an initial task, the data collection was carried out. The hierarchical organization of data was then executed. We then began to develop the spatial analyzes and then carry out the verification of results and finally generate thematic plans whose purpose is to show the obtained results. What is realized in this document seeks to generate a proposal of the use of tools that allow the researcher to generate information with high precision and develop methodologies that are applied to Colombian engineering, likewise the document is presented as knowledge in the fields of geomatics and the geodesy that seeks to evaluate the current projection system of the city of Bogotá DC in search of the quality of results obtained through the current projection, the goal being to evaluate that which has been created through tools that allow to find the strengths or the shortcomings of the existing material and create the starting point to develop this research.
