Abstract

LIFE PAINT - ABSTRACT Life Paint is a research and creation project in plastic and visual arts that consists of an exhibition conceived between 2017 and 2019, thanks to the plastic and visual arts workshops taken at the ASAB faculty of arts, as well as the residence Artistic sponsored by the restaurant Colombo - French A Six Hands. There, the multidisciplinary experimentation was fully achieved from a creation laboratory, which brought together different creatives in areas such as music, digital expression, painting and performance; who developed among themselves a methodology for the creation of a space - time work that exposed to the public a pictorial experience that spoke to them about the interior world, nature, the formation of consciousness and generational memory through landscaping. From this process, a pictorial digital performance was developed, an artistic proposal that unifies audiovisual, photography, video mapping, environment and painting in an action that activates a sound and visual atmosphere that fills the venue with its energy. A work that invites you to explore a pictorial landscape in representation of the living, a space that comes from the inspiration obtained by inhabiting and walking the trails of different natural spaces in Bogotá and its surroundings; like the Eastern Hills, diverse wetlands and other artistic spaces. This experience consists of 24 pieces of medium and large format painting, the result of different actions that, as a pictorial trace, leave these canvases in representation of the sensitive teachings, these are exhibited in the room. Its purpose is to be a voice in the safeguard of the knowledge coming from the field through the deep content found in painting, its beginnings as a source of expression originated in a wild environment and completely connected with nature. A search to understand that we are not individuals but inhabitants of a territory that is shared with other living beings, which, like us, are there, sowing in the balance of ecosystems, natural sources and other spaces of vital energy, cleaning and decomposition. This will also be available the small media possibility that the Internet allows to upload content for free, mass and to reach thousands of people with a desire to help, to safeguard.
