Abstract

The design of the Institutional Environmental Management Plan (PIGA) is intended to involve the Municipality of Sesquilé in the process of formulating strategies to identify and evaluate the activities generated to define the possible environmental impacts, in order to detect, prevent and mitigate said problems and thus, offer the tools and instruments that allow them to be counteracted and achieve their implementation in said entity. The above with the purpose that the entity embraces the concept of "Sustainable Development" in its work, which allows the integral articulation with the advance of the environmental policy in the country, generating the guidelines and parameters of environmental planning as a first step towards the conformation of an institutional environmental management system.
