Resumen
In this radio program, the active participation of women and young people in Afro-Colombian movements is addressed, highlighting their work in the construction of collective identity and the fight for the rights of Afro communities. Eva Grueso and Sofía Garzón, two Afro leaders, reflect on the importance of rescuing and strengthening Afro-Colombian cultural roots, highlighting that identity is not determined by skin color, but by the collective consciousness of African ancestry. It talks about the challenges that black women face in politics, both in terms of their participation and the need to make their contribution visible in the fight for equality. Additionally, the impact of laws such as Law 70 of 1993 and the importance of regulating them to improve the protection of Afro-Colombian territories is discussed. The talk also highlights the fundamental role of youth in the renewal of the movement and in the construction of a more just society.
