Resumen

This project develops the design of an acceleration conveyor belt system for sugar transportation in the food industry, aimed at improving the flow and controlled transportation of the product. The design was developed through the identification of requirements using QFD, material selection using the Ashby method, structural and mechanical dimensioning, power transmission design, and three-dimensional modeling in Solid Edge. As a result, AISI 304 stainless steel was selected for the structure and food-grade TPU for the conveyor belt. Structural and power transmission analyses allowed the strength and safety of the components to be verified, while functional simulation validated the movement, alignment, and operation of the designed system.
