Fortalecimiento de la gestión ambiental de la Defensa Civil Colombiana a través de la actualización del Plan Institucional de Gestión Ambiental (PIGA)

Abstract

The following work seeks to upgrade the Institutional Environmental Management Plan so that it adapts to the present conditions of the Colombian Civil Defense and is applied as a technical line in all its offices, sections and schools nationwide. To do this, the author makes a detailed diagnosis to later generate a policy and an environmental objective that are adjusted to the scope of the work carried out. Finally, it formulates a series of programs: Saving and efficient use of water, Saving and efficient use of energy, Integral solid waste management, Sustainable consumption, Pest control and Sustainable practices; that contribute to the fulfillment of the eco-efficiency objectives established in Decree 456 of 2008 issued by the Mayor's Office of Bogotá, and in general of all current environmental regulations.
