The image contains a notice about the Oficio No. 33 to the Secretary of Public Order on serenos and lighting in which it is mentioned that on the 19th of the present and at four o'clock in the afternoon, the board of merchants met in the room of this office, with the purpose of appointing the principal and alternate members that should compose the board that organizes the serenos and lighting of the streets of Commerce of this city, according to the provisions of the Agreement of the Cabildo of April 17, 1856. Said board designated as principal members, Messrs. Leopoldo Scholos, Félix Saiz, Carlos Borda, Agustín Angarita and Joaquín B. Mier; and for substitutes, Manuel Marín Pardo, Pedro Villalobos, Agustín Carrizosa, Vicente Lombana and Vicente Durana. Finally, it is mentioned that this information should be of the knowledge of the Governor of the province if he should have to publish such appointments. It is signed by Mr. M. Sandoval.
