Resumen
The development of the country has always been linked to his forests, either for his conservation, deforestation or exploitation. These forests have promote families and entire communities to engage in forestry economic activities around the country. Most of forestry workers in Colombia are informal. The main source of this phenomenon it is based on their level of education, sex, age and rural poverty caused that people seek employment in economic informal sectors. Moreover, it is a fact that informal forest workers are more expose to risk factors. This is due that they do not usually use personal protective elements, they are not trained in the risks could may arise during the activities related to forestry. Therefore, it is necessary to collect data and detailed information that allows the construction of the state of art of forestry economic activity from informality, prioritized in the Ten-Year Public Health Plan 2012-2021, with emphasis on risk factors that may affect workers' health, community, environment, and georeferencing of areas in the country where forestry is most used, and Workers could be more affected.
