The image contains a news item about the law approving a reform contract between the Government of the State of Cundinamarca and Pedro María Ibáñez to establish the Institute of Charity in Bogotá, for the Hospital of San Vicente de Paúl. This is an early example of the institutionalization of public charity in Colombia, signed by authorities of the Constituent Assembly and the state government. This news item was published in the Gaceta de Cundinamarca on December 7, 1858.

La imagen contiene una noticia sobre la ley que aprueba un contrato reformatorio entre el Gobierno del Estado de Cundinamarca y Pedro María Ibáñez para establecer el Instituto de Caridad en Bogotá, destinado al Hospital de San Vicente de Paúl.
