Lineamientos y estrategias del componente atmosférico dentro de la revisión general del Plan de Ordenamiento Territorial de Bogotá

Abstract

According to the CONPES 3943 of 2018 "Policy for the improvement of air quality", to solve the problem of air pollution, the renewal and modernization of the vehicle fleet, the reduction of sulfur in fuel, the implementation of better industrial techniques, the development of research and territorial planning are proposed, the latter of great importance at present and little addressed through strategies of the atmospheric component within the POT. This work was carried out in the framework of the discussion of the RG POT of Bogota in the Council of Bogota, and is an experimental tool, which follows the guidelines established by the policy for the improvement of air quality such as, promoting models of land use planning that considers location, concentration, and characteristics of the sources, in addition to the classification of areas according to the level of pollution, all as input for the formulation of guidelines and strategies that are incorporated within the land-use planning of Bogota for the improvement of air quality.
