Resumen
In this section of Voces y Regiones, highlights the importance of participatory processes as a key component of public policy, emphasizing the active role that citizens must play in shaping and monitoring initiatives that address their real needs.
Active participation is seen as a way to strengthen democracy, promote transparency, and ensure more inclusive decision-making—especially in critical sectors such as health.
A people-centered working model is also presented, where institutions, communities, and social actors collaborate in the design and implementation of strategies that guarantee equitable access to health services, disease prevention, and the promotion of self-care. This approach is grounded in a territorial and inclusive perspective.
