Resumen
The image contains news about the resolution by which it is declared that the salary of national employees cannot be made with contributions from the states. This resolution responds to a query from the Treasurer Administrator of the Cartagena Customs about the possibility of national employees being taxed with state contributions. It is concluded that States cannot impose duties on national employees that interfere with their public service. Furthermore, it is argued that salary is an essential compensation for the public service and that any tax that reduces it harms the effectiveness of the service. Therefore, it is resolved that employees of the Union cannot be obligated with state contributions on the salaries they receive for their national functions. Finally, the Attorney General of the Nation is instructed to request the suspension of any state legislative act that contravenes this constitutional provision.
