Descripción técnica e interpretativa de tres obras solistas para cuatro llaneros. nuevas tendencias

Abstract

This work refers to the description of different stylistic forms and interpretative resources of the cuatro, developed thanks to the steady evolution that it is has had, influenced by the cultural context where it is surrounded by. In this, a systematization work of the techniques and execution forms evidenced in the last years is done, through the work of performers who have been essential for the cuatro to have a leading role and incursion into other musics. Throughout both musical description and transcription of pieces with different styles: comping and soloist, the use of different technical components is shown; where it is pointed it out multiple timbral, sound and interpretative possibilities of the cuatro on three musical genre: Bambuco, Onda Nueva (New wave) and Joropo.
