Resumen
This research proposes the formulation of a quality model for the geographic information generated in the soil classification processes within the framework of the Land Management Plans (POT). As part of the methodological development of the research, for the generation of the quality model, the rules and product specifications are followed based on standards and norms, which must comply with the geographical data generated by the municipalities for the formulation of the POT; Similarly, the measures and evaluation methods for the quality elements applicable in the OT were defined. Likewise, an automated validator will be followed to measure the conformity of the geographic information generated by a municipality, exporting a Quality report as a result. Finally, a metadata profile was established to describe in a general format the composition of the geographic information for the POT. As a result, it is expected that the municipalities, the main generators of geographic data for soil classification, are familiar with this type of tool, in order to guarantee that the geographic information generated meets the requirements stipulated in Colombian regulations and in the domain model.
