Resumen
At present, the descriptions of Business Architecture of the civil works sector marginally integrate elements and relationships of the geographic domain. This implies that several specific needs are not properly addressed, leading to structural problems in organizations. The main problems facing the sector are complex and diverse, as stated in the development of the project, showing with them that they contemplate the specific needs and common perspectives of the Enterprise Architecture, does not generate an adequate balance, an important change between their domains , which allow raising and understanding the needs for improvement and fulfillment of strategic objectives proposed by the sector. The integration of geographical concepts allows evaluating the sector from different points of view, contemplating its capacity, resources, business processes, technology and its evolution towards digital transformation. A model is presented to integrate the geographical dimension in the architectural descriptions of civil works sector organizations. For this, in the project the fundamental concepts and properties of a representative company were studied and the affected geographical elements that will be compatible with the strategic direction of the organization were determined. In a complementary way, the discipline of integration of the geographical component required the evaluation of the needs of the organization's value chain, taking into account the architectures of the business domains, information systems and technology. Where all the dimensions that make up the Business Architecture are integrated as a methodology that integrates the strategic objectives of organizations with technology. A model guide for the structuring solution is established for the representative company of this sector and its business lines for its portfolio of products that characterize it, where the main guidelines, mechanisms and strategies are established, which can be implemented as a solution to their own needs With the result of the Architecture, there will be opportunities for improvement in the implementation of its processes, knowledge and appropriation of the geographical domain of the leaders of the organizational units impacted by the architecture, which involve changes in applications, data and technology used today. In the methodological field, the project presents an exploratory and descriptive classification, following an iterative and incremental approach defined from the Architecture Development Method (ADM) proposed by The Open Group. The progress of the layers was given with respect to the reference frames known worldwide, which modify the set of views, artifacts and deliveries that describe the architecture - including the mechanisms that allow managing the dimensions of growth and adaptation. In the same way the techniques that characterize the correct execution of the Enterprise Architecture were used. In accordance with the ideas presented, the Organization Object of study as a representative of the construction sector, where geospatial concepts are implemented to the Enterprise Architecture. As a result, better performance was obtained in their projects, quality efficiency of finished products with profitability, where all the services currently available in the organization are related to geographic information from any other layer of Business Architecture and its It also represents a continuous improvement over time, the creation of internal geographic policies and committee. Thus representing a differentiating company between the housing construction market.
