Resumen
This report outlines the key activities undertaken during the internship at the Legislative Work Unit (UTL) of Senator Yuly Esmeralda Hernández Silva during the 2024-1 ordinary legislative session. The internship focused on providing technical and legislative support on environmental issues, including the drafting of technical reports that backed key legislative proposals related to environmental conservation and animal welfare. Significant achievements include the analysis and systematization of legislative information, drafting of regulatory compliance reports, and document management. Additionally, support was provided in the sessions of the Fifth Constitutional Permanent Commission and in political control debates, contributing relevant information for legislative decision-making. The conclusions emphasize the need for stronger integration of environmental policies into national legislation and highlight the importance of a technical approach to reinforcing legislative proposals that promote sustainability and ecosystem protection.
