The image contains a news item about the Patriotic Offer given in the Republic of the New Granada in the Inspection of the Provincial College of La Merced in Bogota, in this one the Governor of this same province mentions that the philanthropist Dr. José Félix Merizalde has made him a kind offer for the benefit of the College that has been mentioned, enclosing that the girls will be taught domestic hygiene mentioning that this person had mentioned in previous occasions a work related to the subject and the appropriate instruction of the girls. In addition, a reply from the Governor's Office of the province is mentioned, stating that it has learned of the offers made for the Colegio La Merced and accepts them gladly since it considers them to be of vital importance for the youth, thanking Dr. Merizalde.
