Análisis de cumplimiento de la distancia de visibilidad en la Avenida Boyacá entre Avenida Primero de Mayo y Avenida de las Américas

Abstract

Road accidents are a public health problem, it becomes necessary to analyze the tracks, geometry and materials. Here research takes place in the Boyacá Avenue In the delimited from the south on the first May Avenue to the Avenue of the Americas segment, being one of the roughest routes so much so that in the segment under study two (2) critical points are presented. The study is to verify the stopping sight distance, from operating speeds on the road, perform statistical processes and develop the theory of reliability, also from elements of geometric design and topography of the area generates a 3D model, using specialized software to determine the visibility distance available and compare the results of the processes is obtained as a result both child deductions representative each other and that high accident rates in the segment of track are not due to the stopping sight distance .
