Abstract

Taking into account the importance of the economic valuation of natural resources, as a tool to measure the expectations of benefits and costs associated with some of actions such as: use of environmental goods, performance of environmental improvement, generation of environmental damage; it is important to determine to what extent this assessment can affect the economic value of the pregods that contain them herefore, it was considered the need to apply this important tool of economic theory, to a real context in which natural resources play an important role for both the contiguous community and the field that contains it. On the basis of the aforementioned, it was decided to advance the present exploratory work whose objective is to determine an economic value corresponding to the dominant vegetal coverages in three grounds located in the sector of "quebrada la Vieja", locality of Chapinero; that belong to the EAAB
