Resumen
This study addresses the shift toward more sustainable agricultural practices, focusing on strawberry cultivation in Sibaté, Cundinamarca—one of Colombia’s leading production areas. It examines the environmental impact of conventional farming methods that rely heavily on agrochemicals and highlights the need to adopt alternatives that preserve soil quality and human health. Within this context, the monograph evaluates the use of bio-inputs such as Trichoderma and Beauveria bassiana, comparing their effectiveness with traditional techniques. The main objective is to propose a sustainable agricultural model that is both environmentally and economically viable for local farmers, grounded in the principles of agroecology, sustainability, and environmental justice.
