La Primavera de las Moscas

Abstract

This paper aims at describing the process of research, dramaturgy creation, construction of the mise en scene y direction of the play “The spring of the flies”. The focus was dealing with one aspect of the reality of Colombia – which we have named “social illness” -, result of the violence in the context of the country, deepening the consequences that such conflict has resulted over the individual and social bodies. For that purpose it has been asked about the imaginary of “hidden country”: an underground country which keeps alive in the bodies and trained spirits for the barbarity as a daily, normal situation where – in the case of Colombia – has resulted in a sort of normalization of the violence at a social level with a psychological acceptance sustained by the human sciences.
