Resumen
The building information model (BIM) is imposed as a universal concept for information management, geometric and / or abstract and throughout the life cycle of building construction projects. To overcome the problems of interoperability and exchange of information in BIM architectural models were adopted exchange standards called product models. Using these industry interoperability standards (product models) is raised in this research a procedure for the analysis of the information provided in the building information model, through a multidimensional data model or business intelligence model. The importance of this approach is to introduce the concept of multidimensional data analysis on a product model, which has implications that go beyond of the simple analysis of the elements of a building, as a product model can describe the composition and deployment of any class of complex product like an engine, an airplane, building, etc. Research shows that every product model is analyzable through a business intelligence model and exposed as the concept of multidimensional data analysis of a BIM information can be used by universities with some regulation regarding physical spaces to measure compliance with organizational goals and objectives.
