Abstract

Agriculture in Colombia is an activity developed for hundreds of people; this implies that in the development of activities that are immersed in agriculture, proper monitoring is not provided for the prevention of different risk factors to which the people are exposed in carrying out these activities. It presents a state of the art of the economic activity of agriculture seen from the informal sector and framed in the PDSP 2012 – 2021; in which, the main risk factors affecting workers, families and communities and departments with high crop production are identified, which require the study of the agricultural sector of the country, taking into account the current situation in terms of informality which is presented in this sector, the main crops produced at national level, the living conditions of the people who are affected and the main risks to which these workers are exposed.
