Resumen
This article forms parts of my final dissertation using action research methods employed for my MA in Communication and Education at The Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas. The research analyses dialogues among a group of senior high school students in public schools in Bogotá, Colombia, and their views around the concepts of life and education. The research employs an experimental methodology that brings a new perspective to communication processes used in schools; through the recognition of the students as subjects, we bring out elements of their life stories, hopes, ambitions and life purpose. The students also discuss the importance of making choices at different stages of their lives and the transitioning from the world of high school.
