Resumen
This paper details the implementation of a prototype distributed data transmission and management system for smart agriculture monitoring in a potato crop in Macheta-Cundinamarca, which is specifically designed to measure and manage environmental and nutritional variables of the selected crop, based on IoT architecture, specifically designed to optimize potato cultivation (Solanum Tuberosum, variety R12). The system seeks to maximize productivity through real-time monitoring of key variables such as ambient temperature, humidity, soil moisture, and nutrient levels (NPK), using a LEAN approach that prioritizes resource efficiency and continuous improvement. The architecture uses Wi-Fi communication to connect sensors distributed throughout the crop to a central gateway, enabling long-distance data transmission with low energy consumption. The data is sent using the MQTT protocol, stored in a database (MongoDB), and displayed on a dashboard accessible from mobile devices, facilitating decision-making.
