The image has news from October 1864, two crimes were recorded in Bogotá. The first involved police officer Rafael Sabogal, who was discharged for feeding Zolia Triana in the Reception House without authorization. The second crime involved Teodoro Guzmán, who was arrested for robbery at the Riachuelo ranch. An apparently stolen foaling mare was also retained at the request of Alejandro González Vásquez. Regarding arrests, Silverio Pulido and Estévan Cárdenas were arrested for stealing oxen from Ignacio Pulido, while five oxen were detained for damage to property. The police patrol revealed the health of the inmates and the lack of clothing. In another incident, Dionisio Hernández and Matea Bonilla were arrested for armed assault on the market square watchmen. Additionally, incidents of drunkenness and vandalism were reported in the city. The police continued their nightly patrols to maintain order.
