Knowledge managing in the classroom: promoting pedagogy changes toward a global education

Ante la inminente llegada de la sociedad del conocimiento, la Universidad reasume su protagonismo en su generación y conservación, bajo las directrices de la formación, la investigación, la extensión y la docencia. Por tal razón, tanto estudiantes como educadores deben apropiarse de un nuevo papel con una postura crítica, creativa, colaborativa y contextualizada, frente a los avances científicotecnológicos que se dan en la aldea global. En este artículo se describe como mediante pequeños cambios continuos que permitan incorporar las nuevas tecnologías de la información y el conocimiento en las metodologías de enseñanza - aprendizaje, se puede contribuir favorablemente a alcanzar esta meta.
Nowadays, in the presence of the knowledge society, University assumes a principal role in knowledge generation and preservation, carrying out activities for development, researching, and teaching. That is the reason why both, students and teachers, must demonstrate a new behavior, acting with a criticism, creative, communicative and collaborative attitude, facing scientifictechnology progresses in a global environment. This paper explores how by means of continual little changes to integrate new information and knowledge technologies in the traditional teaching-learning methodologies, this goal can be achieved.
