Elaboración del plan de contingencias para el transporte terrestre de sustancias químicas de la empresa Chemicals & Services S.A.S.

Abstract

The growing demand of the markets for the transport of merchandise, the official regulations related to the handling, storage, distribution and transport of dangerous goods and the conditions in which transport is developed in our country, make it necessary to establish mechanisms for prevention, operational management and corrective more and more complete, oriented to face the possible scenarios to happen. The plan is structured based on the national contingency plan against spills of hydrocarbons, by-products and harmful substances and / or dangerous goods, which has three levels. The first one is the strategic plan that compiles the guidelines, policy, objectives and other managerial aspects that ensure the operation of the plan. Secondly, there is the operative plan that organizes the human and technical resources of the companies to achieve an adequate emergency attention, through the establishment of procedures (Tactical guides and standard operating procedures) for emergency control. Thirdly, the information plan is presented which marks the communications protocol both internally and externally of the company in case of emergencies.
