Resumen
In this research work, the modeling of two pedestrian bridges in Bogotá D.C. was conducted to analyze their dynamic response to the passage of a pedestrian. To achieve this objective, a research and information gathering process was conducted on the metal bridges associated with Transmilenio that currently exist in the city. From the above, two pedestrian bridges were chosen for the study, and these were inspected for the pathologies they present, followed by the modeling of the dynamic response of the bridges to the load produced by the transit of people on the bridges using MIDAS CIVIL software. The results showed that the vertical frequencies are not lower than 5Hz, which indicates that according to the standards used (AASHTO, BS5400, EUROCODE, ASIC SÉTRA) the structures comply with the comfort standards. Regarding acceleration values, the modeled bridges do not present maximum accelerations exceeding the limits of the evaluated international standards and therefore it is understood that there is no risk of resonance.
