Resumen

The tools that perform the classification of satellite images based on different Machine Learning algorithms are extremely expensive and difficult to access (commercial software), which are very specialized. Due to this, obtaining a free tool or software with quality indicators similar to those obtained in commercial software is a technological challenge. Thus, the development of a plugin for the QGIS software (MLClassImage Plugin) is presented, which performs satellite image classification, based on the following algorithms: KNN, Random Forest and Support Vector Machines (SVM). Within it, the user will be able to manipulate the parameters of each of the algorithms in order to select the model that best fits the required classification according to the interpretation of the results obtained.
