Resumen
The study evaluated the bioadsorption of copper with inert biomass of Saccharomyces cerevisiae in water contaminated artificially with Copper pentahydrate (CuSO 4 · 5H 2 O). The time of exposure of yeast to Metal was 3 hours taking samples hourly, performing an evaluation of The bioadsorption at different concentrations of copper (10-20-50-100-150 Mg / L Cu II) and varying the pH (4-5-6) of each concentration to a temperature Of 30 ° C and with agitation of 80 rpm, triplicate each test (n = 3). The Concentrations of Cu (II) worked in the study were analyzed by Spectrophotometry. Yeast S. cerevisiae showed that at all concentrations and pHs the Contaminant was removed, with the best performance of bioadsorption at pH 5 With an adsorption of 22.1% at a concentration of 150 mg / L Cu II, with time Contact time of 180 min.
