Resumen
Based on the current behavior of people, who everyday use their vehicle (motorcycle) more and more to travel long distances just to discover new places and focusing on individuals who perform these activities in groups, we thought of a solution to a problem of great impact when traveling kilometers with one or more companions. It was found that on many occasions, for various reasons, contact with one or more members of the group is lost, making it difficult to notify and/or communicate with each other in case of an accident or unforeseen event that requires immediate and timely assistance, either among the group members themselves or with emergency services and roadside assistance. In order to offer a proposal that could be useful to these users, we propose a solution that allows monitoring the location in real time of the group members who are carrying out the activity using the global positioning system of their mobile devices, facilitating the communication between the group members and the emergency and roadside assistance services, generating alerts to the other members of the group in case help or assistance is needed, either because a user requests such assistance or because events are detected that may indicate an accident, theft or loss of signal, among others, and informing the participants of the activity about any news, event or stop that requires the attention of the group. In an initial review of the market of available applications, it was discovered that none of the current solutions have all these features; thus, locating a possible market niche that allows us to offer this product to a specific group of individuals who have been previously surveyed in order to obtain the necessary data for the construction of our application. At the time of introducing the idea in the market, our projection is very positive, being ourselves possible users of the same application. We enthusiastically conceived the distribution and scope of the application, fulfilling specific objectives such as communicating and allowing users to be safe in the execution of the activities of transporting themselves in their private vehicle. Having as a pillar the protection of human life, our proposal seeks to minimize possible accidents or errors that may occur due to lack of information or communication in a departure or a long trip; allowing, if necessary, to monitor the progress and status of the traveler if he so wishes. Or, if any eventuality should arise, to be able to reduce notification and attention times, thus being able to mitigate possible negative consequences.
