Resumen
"Tooth for Tooth" by Effen explores interpersonal relationships and the importance of family in Colombian society, highlighting how these relationships are crucial for identity and socialization. However, the text also addresses problems such as violence, the crisis of values, media disinformation, and sociocultural inequalities, which threaten family and social cohesion. Torres proposes an ethical and aesthetic project that seeks to recompose the bonds of communication and coexistence, questioning the ethical legacy for future generations and promoting individual reflection on good and evil in an environment of uncertainty and conflict.
The project materializes in a visual proposal that uses the image of a family in intimacy, along with symbolic elements such as the dandelion and representations of violence, to generate a reflection on human fragility and the need to recover values for coexistence. Torres seeks to use mass media, such as billboards, to disseminate ethical and aesthetic messages that invite reflection and promote the construction of a better society. The objective is to offer an alternative to conventional consumption models, fostering identification with a Colombian social reality and strengthening resilience in the face of adversity.
