Resumen
The Interinstitutional Doctorate in Education - DIE, in its different Emphasis, develops the space for publishing advances in the research of its professors and students as a space for dissemination and discussion of its training and research activity. On this occasion, the Emphasis on Language and Education presents a work, in five chapters, by students of the Doctorate of the 2011 cohort that give an account, not only of the advances of the doctoral students authors, but of some of the lines of research of the groups that make up this Emphasis. In this sense, this book constitutes an overview of the lines of research and a contribution to the understanding of the problems that emerge in educational contexts, in relation to language, in a broad sense. Thus, the set of five chapters that make up this work go through relationships between language, education and sociocultural scenarios, offering a framework for understanding phenomena such as: argumentation and sociodiscursive contexts of a political, historical and academic nature; narration and contexts of armed conflict in our country; academic reading practices and elements for their understanding; and, visual language as an expression of artistic training in digital contexts.
