La imagen contiene una noticia acerca de los incidentes causados por el derrumbe de Monserrate el 1 de diciembre de 1890, en el cual la boca del acueducto que estaba junto al cerro y el nuevo "Puente Holguín “fueron daños por este incidente, además en la noticia también se puede evidenciar que otros incidentes ocurrieron debido a este derrumbe consiguiente a esto aparece la respuesta a aquellos que acuden al señor ministro para que pueda colaborarles.
