Resumen
This work investigates the integration of a photovoltaic system in the structure of the new laboratory and research building of the Faculty of Engineering of the Francisco José de Caldas District University, using BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics) technology in order to cover the energy demand, given that the building is still in the construction phase, an analysis was carried out through the distribution boards and usage profiles to estimate consumption, subsequently, with the help of Revit software, the distribution of solar radiation in different time slots in order to determine the effective irradiance area and also know the available surface. With this information, a 19.04 kWp photovoltaic system was sized, capable of covering 0.875% of the building's energy consumption. In addition, a load flow analysis was performed to verify the behavior of the node in the building's one-line diagram, evaluating its impact.
