Apoyo a las labores estadísticas en la consolidación de información relacionada al Certificado de Incentivo Forestal (CIF) y revisión de la base de datos de plantaciones forestales y sistemas agroforestales para el Boletín Estadístico Forestal

Abstract

This work is based on the review of Forest Incentive Certificate (CIF) files that rest in the Forestry Single Window (VUF) and that have areas between 50 to 100 ha and the review of the plantation database forestry and agroforestry systems between the years 1960 and 2022, reported by the ICA (Colombian Agricultural Institute), the MADR (Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development), FINAGRO (Fund for Financing of the Agricultural Sector), FNC (National Federation of Coffee Growers) and FEDECACACO (National Federation of Cocoa Growers) used to consolidate the Forest Statistical Bulletin for March 2023. Firstly, for the part of the analysis of the CIF data in the country (50 - 100 ha), an analysis is made of the number of existing projects, their participation in area and number of projects in the different departments of Colombia and respective municipalities, in addition to the forest species that are most used for this purpose, their origin (introduced or native), and information is also collected regarding the beneficiaries of this incentive; are referenced non-compliance that has been recorded by them, and also, information is collected regarding the disbursements that were made by FINAGRO, among others. Regarding the Forest Statistical Bulletin, from a database provided by the MADR, information on forest plantations and agroforestry systems reported by different entities was obtained and with this, the respective analysis of the information was carried out.
