Experiencias en workshops vítreos (Escuela de la Transparencia FAASAB)

Abstract

During the "1st International Symposium on Research and Creation on Glass as an Environmental Metaphor for Transparency FAASAB-UD 2022," held in September 2022 as part of the "International Year of Glass" declared by the UN, the Visual and Plastic Arts curriculum project of the ASAB Faculty of Arts organized several workshops to create glass pieces. These were produced in the FAASAB silkscreen and glass laboratories, the ABC del Vitral workshops, and the artisanal glass workshop. The final result is works created using five different techniques: vitreous photography, grisaille, digital image transfer on vitreous surfaces, glass blowing, and flame-blowing. Some of the pieces made in the workshops are part of the exhibition "Experiences in Glass Workshops," which will be open to the public at SALASAB in the Palacio de la Merced (Carrera 13 # 14-69) until Wednesday, December 21.
