Abstract

A software system was developed and implemented for the visualization of knowledge categories and the management of specific results associated with academic spaces, using the institutional technology stack composed of PHP 7.0, XAMPP, MySQL, and Git/GitHub. The information used came from official university sources, duly validated and updated with the academic advisor, ensuring the relevance and reliability of the data. The system incorporates report generation capabilities with download options in PDF, Excel, and CSV formats, integrating custom filters that facilitate the search and analysis of information. This feature seeks to optimize the time and resources of the coordination staff, enabling a more efficient response to institutional and Ministry of Education requirements, especially those related to the alignment between specific results and curricular objectives. Likewise, version control was implemented in GitHub using the GitFlow methodology, which includes three main branches (develop, stage, and master). This approach guarantees the traceability of changes, the organization of the workflow, and the sustainability of the project over time. Regarding data management, a MySQL relational database was designed consisting of three main tables: subject, subject_specific_result, and specific_subject_result. The corresponding relationships were established, and validation tests were performed, ensuring compliance with ACID (Atomicity, Consistency, Isolation, and Durability) principles. As a result, it is concluded that the implemented data structure guarantees the integrity and reliability of the information processed by the system.
