Resumen
This manual is a pedagogical proposal that links the performing arts with emotional education in non-formal school contexts, specifically in vulnerable populations. It was built from the experience of the project Me juego la vida: desarrollando habilidades para la vida (2020) developed by the group La Piola Teatro between 2021 and 2023, its structure is based on the World Health Organization (WHO) Life skills education in schools initiative (1993), adapting its ten psycho-social skills through artistic disciplines such as dance theatre, masks, spoken voice, improvisation, puppets and stilts. The methodological proposal is organized in three cycles according to primary school grades, each cycle addresses a type of psychosocial skill (cognitive, emotional or social) and proposes eight sessions per discipline, structured in four key moments: arrangement, conceptualization, appropriation and reflection. The activities are designed to be experiential, playful and emotionally significant, providing safe spaces for expression, personal recognition and strengthening interpersonal ties, through performing art as a universal language, the aim is to contribute to the integral well-being of children and young people by promoting their personal and social development.
