| dc.description | La nueva geografía ha sido considerada la base de la introducción de elementos que eran propios de las ciencias físicas y de las matemáticas. Es así como se presentan conceptos sobre la teoría locacional, los sistemas de redes y los análisis estadísticos, los cuales son tratados e implementados en forma muy eficiente por las tecnologías de la información geográfica (TIG). La enseñanza de la geografía es un tema que desde hace algunos años ha comenzado a tener gran importancia, gracias a la utilización de las TIG. Debido a que en Colombia no existe una política que permita a los profesores el uso de los Sistemas de información geográfica (SIG) en la enseñanza secundaria y esta materia se ha venido dictando de manera convencional, el objetivo de este escrito es hacer una descripción y un análisis del uso de las geotecnologías en la educación específicamente en la básica secundaria. Igualmente, mostrar las herramientas modernas con que pueden contar los profesores de la educación básica para enseñar el tema de la geografía física y económica de Colombia de una forma fácil y sencilla por medio de la red, basándose en los estándares y lineamientos de educación, dados por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional | es-ES |
| dc.description | The new geography as a geography trend has been considered as a base of the elements that belongs before only to the physics and mathematics sciences. In this ways this tendency introduces the locacional theory, the network systems and the statistical analysis, all of these have been implemented in a successfully way by the Geography Information Technologies. This essay has a principal objective to make a reflection regarding the impact of the new geography in the development of the Geography Information Technologies and how all these concepts are applying in an efficient mode using technological tools in the secondary education in Colombia. On the other hand, The GIS prototype to teach geography matter is presented, to show the meaning of the use of GIS at the class room and how this tools can be used in a successfully way for teachers to teach to young people at the secondary schools. | en-US |
