Resumen
Low back pain is a condition that generates high absenteeism and disability, being one of the biggest health problems with a high prevalence rate and a high economic burden. The clinic uses a series of models that integrate an analysis of multiple variables to determine in a timely manner the diagnosis, the course and the work impact of this health condition. Objective: To design a prototype of the assessment tool, allowing it to adapt to the characteristics of the functions and capabilities of people and workers with musculoskeletal disorders in the lumbar spine in order to monitor their re-employment. Materials and methods: The search was performed in the databases of Science Direct, Scielo, Proquest, PubMed, Elsevier, Medline, PubMed Central and indexed journals. The articles were selected according to the criteria established in the study, defining the most relevant. Results: 120 articles met the established criteria, but only 50 with the purpose of the review. The studies are 52.4% related to the methods used in the lumbar spine. Conclusion: demonstrate the existence of methods that seek to determine the function of workers with low back pain, facilitate decision making in the strategies used in the control of risk factors.
