The image contains news about the "Visiting Procedures" carried out in the Cleaning, Lighting and Surveillance Tax Collection Office, corresponding to the months of April and May of the current year. On May 1, 1901, the Inspector General of the Branch visited the office to audit the records corresponding to the month of April. The Collector presented the Journal, Ledger and Cash books, as well as the relevant balances and receipts, all in accordance with current regulations. The cash movement revealed an initial existence of $12,314.05, a collection of $1,219.40 and payments of $1,236.30, leaving a balance of $12,297.15. The procedure concluded without significant observations. On June 1, 1901, a similar visit was made for May, again confirming the proper management of financial records. The initial stock was $12,297.15, with a collection of $1,141.30, payments of $1,086.95 and a remittance to the General Treasury of $12,238.20, resulting in a balance of $113.30.
