The quality of life of pedestrians in the different arterial roads of the city also depends on a good road network, since a poor roadway not only affects health, but also pedestrian safety. One of the main drawbacks of Bogotá's main roads is its large number of traffic intersections, generate high levels of accidents and do not satisfy the high vehicular demand, since it is not being controlled. Bear in mind that the existing intersection in career tenth with First Avenue of May has two (2) Transmilenio trunks that also generate conflicts during peak hours; this problem has generated the proposal to intervene one of the intersections located in the southeast that presents conflicts in their different crosses, through the geometric design of an overpass, The geometric design defined in Carrera 10ª, with two roads each with Four Including Transmilenio, First Avenue of May was not modified and continues to level, four connectors with respect to the necessary turns and a pedestrian bridge on the Avenue of May, to improve the mobility of the different means of transport that exist in Bogota.
