Resumen
The Francisco José de Caldas District University aware of the role it has with the environment and its commitment to the university community with sustainable development; understands the protection of the environment and therefore presents this feasibility study for the construction of an underground water treatment plant at the Bosa El Porvenir Headquarters. The objective of this plant is to treat the groundwater that is currently being collected so that the multipurpose field that is at the Bosa El Porvenir Headquarters is not flooded. Currently, water is only collected and goes directly to the sewer system without prior use that could be beneficial to the university community. Through this work it is intended to present groundwater as a vitally important resource in the processes of a treatment plant. Different studies will be addressed such as market study, technical study, economic-financial study and socio-environmental study that will give a detailed vision of the viability of the project. The results obtained from the feasibility study carried out conclude that pumping tests, quality studies and true origin of the water to be treated must be taken into account, so that the construction project of a utilization plant for the Bosa El headquarters Porvenir contributes to academic and environmental development.
