Resumen
This dissertation describes performance practices and exercises in relation to motherhood. It seeks to highlight actresses in training, as well as alumni from the PCAE (Stage Arts Studies Program) of the ASAB SCHOOL of Arts, who have chosen to face the challenges of motherhood, professional training and performing arts management simultaneously, as a way of building a sustainable life-project. This research analyzes how motherhood is conceived in theatre performance and inquires into the development of women who are both actresses and mothers, working in theatrical and artistic milieus. To achieve this, the study sets forth common features for these women, drawn from polls and reflections on aspects such as motherhood, body, creation, upbringing, acting between chores, and social conditions that they deal with on a daily basis.
