| dc.description | Abdú Eljaiek is one of the most important Colombian photographers of the second half of the twetieth century. In this interview, we remember alongside him part of his life and his main works as a portraitist. We take a tour of the personality and the circumstances that surround the portraits of personalities of Colombian culture as Eduardo Caballero and León de Greiff. Some technical aspects of his work are analyzed, focusing then on one of its main themes: the peasantry of the Altiplano Cundiboyacense. Finally, Eljaiek makes a brief tour of some names of Colombian photography. | en-US |

En esta entrevista se recuerda junto a él parte de su vida y de sus principales obras como retratista. Se hace un recorrido por la personalidad y las circunstancias que envuelven los retratos de personajes de la cultura colombiana como Eduardo Caballero y León de Greiff. Algunos aspectos técnicos son analizados, así como el acercamiento a uno de sus temas principales: El campesinado del altiplano cundiboyacense.
